The kids had fun decorating their pumpkins.  They hate digging the stuff out of the pumpkins.  So we decided to do Mr. Potato head like pieces.  I think Bryce and Allie decided to pick out the biggest ones!

Halloween- Green Army Men

I work in an Elementary School with disabled children.  So there are a lot of adults in our classroom.  We decided this year we would all dress up as something from Toy Story.  So Lauryn & I were Green army men!

Last weekend we went to Utah because my nephew (Dallas) was coming home off his mission.  We were so excited to see him and have him home.  He went to Brazil for his mission.  All of my family stayed in the same hotel.  We did some shopping, swimming, and stayed up late talking.  Allie went shopping with me and Jared.  She just liked the big chair!  We also went to one of our favorite places to eat, "In 'n' Out"!

Last night for family night we decided to go out for ice cream.  Bryce wasn't very happy.  He didn't want to go to Dairy Queen.  We love treat night!

I just wanted to be a mom!

When I was little I just wanted to be a mom when I grew up.  Whenever someone would ask me what I wanted to be, I just said a mom.  I use to sing this song when I was little:  "When I grow up, I want to be a mother.  And have a family.  1 little 2 little 3 little babies of my own."  And then it went on from there.  I loved that song.  I'm so glad Heavenly Father has blessed me with 4 wonderful children.

Game Night

Last night Taylor and Allie wanted to play a game with the family.  So Taylor picked the game "Apples to Apples".  I hate this game cuz I never win!  But we all had fun!  Allie got to laughing so hard she almost couldn't breath.  Bryce was the judge and was reading the cards.  The card was Europe, and he said Erop.  We all thought it was so funny!  I love my family!

Ok so Jared and I don't go out on dates much.  So the other night we decided to pick up Chinese for dinner.  While we were waiting on our food we walked down to the dollar store.  Oh the things you can find at the dollar store!  HaHaHa!  So here are a couple of funny pics of Jared!  We are the best of friends.  And we still have a ton of fun with each other.  Probably more now than when we were dating.  I love you Jared!

School Picture Day

Today was school picture day!  Bryce & Taylor both wanted to wear Aeropostle shirts.  Allie wanted her hair curly.  Bryce and Allie got their hair cut last night. 

HALO NIGHT!

Tonight is Friday night so that means Halo Night for Jared!  I'm so glad Jared has some good guys to play with!  He has so much fun.  He hates this picture of himself!

Zucchini Bread

Zucchini Bread

• 2 C. sugar
• 3 Eggs beaten
• 1 C. veg. oil
• 2 C. grated zucchini
• 3 tsp. vanilla
• 3 C. Flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. Baking Soda
• 3 tsp. cinnamon
• 3/4 tsp. Nutmeg
• 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
• 1 C. chopped Nuts (optional)

Bake 1 hour at 325*     Makes 2 regular loaves or approximately 5 small loaves.

I made Zucchini bread the other day.  The kids have had it for breakfast every morning.  They love it!

The boys said, "You can even see the zucchini in it!"  I highly suggest you try this one!

Lauryn Bell

I have an angel friend. Her name is Lauryn Bell. Lauryn has what is called Rett Syndrome. She can't talk, eat on her own, or walk on her own. She was born normal. But started showing signs that something was wrong. I go to school with Lauryn. This is the 3rd year I have been able to join her at school. I am her aide at school and basically am her hands. She had a good day today and that made my day good. She just makes me smile! To think that in heaven she said, "I choose to not have a perfect body so that I can go to earth." I feel the spirit of an angel every day when I am with her. I love her!

First Time Blogger

My niece (Becca) came over tonight and got my Blog set up.  So I will try this out and see how well I do.  I'm still learning so hopefully this will get better!  Carter, Bryce, & Taylor went to a movie tonight.  Allie went to spend the night with Becca, Devin, & Emma.  She also spent the last 2 nights at Grandma Karen's house.  She loves sleepovers!  I think cuz she gets the attention.  Tonight I went to my sister's house (Wendy) and got spray tanned!  It was fun to hang out with the sisters for a short time and laugh about our tans.  I always say "Tan fat is better than white fat." 

Tonight is also Friday night and that means Halo night for Jared!  I love that he has good friends to play with!  Thanks guys! So I tried to put a picture of Jared playing Halo.  But it kept going sideways so I need to work on that,
